Top Academic, Industry and Media Leaders to Chair 2008 Advocacy Awards
On March 18, 2008, Research!America will present its 12th annual Advocacy Awards gala to honor outstanding advocates for medical, health and scientific research. The event will be at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium in Washington, DC.
Our 2008 gala co-chairs are Joseph M. Feczko, MD, chief medical officer of our corporate host Pfizer Inc, and Dennis A. Ausiello, MD, Jackson Professor of Clinical Medicine at Harvard Medical School, and chief of medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital. Publisher Randy Siegel will represent PARADE magazine, our gala media sponsor.
Established in 1996, our annual Advocacy Awards program recognizes individuals and organizations whose leadership efforts have been notably effective in advancing our nation's commitment to research. Please plan to join us on March 18!
