Research!America is the nation's largest public education and advocacy alliance working to make research to improve health a higher national priority. Our member organizations represent 125 million Americans and include many of the nation's leading universities, health profession schools, businesses, research institutes, patient advocacy groups, professional societies and foundations.

Research!America's chair, board of directors, president and top staff engage in extensive outreach to policy makers and national scientific and medical research leaders

Our board chair is former Congressman  John Edward Porter; Mary Woolley serves as president and CEO. Other board members include leaders from all research sectors, communications and other relevant fields. Research!America is a 501(c)(3) organization.
