Elizabeth Baker Keffer is Vice President of The Atlantic and President of Atlantic LIVE, the events arm of The Atlantic, overseeing events ranging from small, private "Salon Dinners," to larger panel discussion and Town Hall gatherings, to The Atlantic's Aspen Ideas Festival. Previously, Elizabeth served as the publisher of The Atlantic and Executive Vice President, Atlantic Media Group, from 2001-2007, where she oversaw all advertising, marketing and corporate partnerships at The Atlantic, National Journal, Congress Daily and Government Executive. Prior to Atlantic Media, Elizabeth worked for 16 years at the Advisory Board Company and the Corporate Executive Board - two "sister" companies in the business research and consulting field. While at the those firms, Elizabeth was part of small launch teams that developed programs such as the Health Care Advisory Board, Medical Leadership Council, the Cardiovascular and Oncology Roundtables, the Corporate Strategy Board, H*Works and the Nursing Leadership Academy. Elizabeth graduated from Brown University with an English degree with honors and a second concentration in biology.
