Mary Woolley is quoted on NIH funding for FY11
The BNA Medical Research Law & Policy Report article discusses cuts to the NIH budget for FY2011.
In the article, Woolley was quoted saying, "When research funding is reduced, young scientists are most likely to suffer job losses. They may choose other careers -- costing us a generation of American scientists."
She went on to say that innovation in science and technology are crucial to U.S. competitiveness.
