Reports in Research!America's Investment in Research Saves Lives and Money and Bridging the Sciences series are the result of many successful partnerships.

Political leaders, the media and advocates recognize them as valuable resources and effective advocacy tools. We continue to add reports in each series, and partnership opportunities are available.

The Value of Research!America Reports

Decision maker impact: Members of Congress and their staff, select staff at the Department of Health and Human Services headquarters and its agencies, all governors and lieutenant governors, select members of state legislatures, and state health officers receive copies of the reports at the time of publication. In addition, more than 2000 of our members and others in the medical and health community receive the report as an insert to the Research!America newsletter, The Research Advocate. A PDF version of the report is posted on www.researchamerica.org.

Resource for officials: The reports present information in a concise, bulleted format. Legislative and appointed officials can easily use information from the series when developing talking points and deciding policy positions.

Reference for the media: Research!America distributes the reports to targeted media in coordination with the partner. The reports serve as inspiration and background information for articles.

Please contact Stacie Propst, PhD, senior director of science policy and outreach, for more information about partnering on a report in the Investment in Research Saves Lives and Money and the Bridging the Sciences series.
