Alliance Development and Membership Associate
Research!America, an alliance that advocates for science, discovery, and innovation in order to achieve better health for all, is seeking a thoughtful, detail-oriented Alliance Development and Membership Associate.
Reporting to the Director of Alliance Development and Membership, this key team member’s varied responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing monthly membership renewals, researching and recruiting new member prospects, supporting event execution and managing sponsor deliverables for the organization’s signature events. A major function of the position is database management, overseeing the member, sponsor, donor and event database, and assisting in identifying and implementing efficiencies.
The ideal candidate will have a four-year degree, a minimum of 2-3 years’ development experience or experience at a membership-based organization, excellent writing and communications skills, demonstrated ability to represent the organization to external audiences, ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, and is a strategic and critical thinker with an excellent work ethic and superb organizational skills.
