The American Society for Microbiology and Research!America, in collaboration with the American Society for Virology cordially invite you to celebrate the opening of “Outbreak: Epidemics in a Connected World" on Monday May 21, 2018 from 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM EDT. This Smithsonian exhibit marks the 100th anniversary of the Great Influenza pandemic. ASM is proud to be teaming up with the Smithsonian in this three-year effort.

New data will be released on the results of a national public opinion survey on vaccines and infectious disease outbreaks. These important findings will provide new insights and highlight current trends on public perception of vaccines and outbreaks.
