Better 6 feet away than 6 feet under

Without presidential orders of “shelter in place,” there are still many people in states who are ignoring the threat and continuing on as usual. This is a threat to them and to all of us.

As a scientist whose research interests have moved increasingly toward public heath, over the past couple of weeks I have been analyzing the data from Johns Hopkins University.

There’s a plethora of scientific resources on the new coronavirus, such as the excellent Research America site that compiles well-sourced facts and projections about the pandemic.
