Encourage Your Representative to Join the BIOTech Caucus!
In July, Representatives Chrissy Houlahan (D-PA) and Stephanie Bice (R-OK) launched the bipartisan BIOTech Caucus in the House of Representatives. The caucus was formed in response to threats detailed in the National Security Commission on Emerging Biotechnology (NSCEB)’s report to Congress in April of this year.
The caucus focuses on strengthening US biotechnology and the multi-sector, multi-discipline pipeline behind it, which is responsible for more than 2 million jobs and nearly $3 trillion of economic activity. Most importantly, US biotechnology delivers needed answers for people across our nation and around the globe confronting deadly and disabling health threats.
