Shaping the Future of Nursing Science Together: A Discussion with NINR

In partnership with the National Health Council, Research!America invites you to participate in a National Institute of Nursing Research (NINR) listening session on Wednesday, May 27, from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. ET. The session (in-person only) will be held at the Barbara Jordan Conference Center, located at 1330 G St NW in Washington, D.C. 

This interactive session is part of a broader series of stakeholder engagement forums designed to inform the development of NINR’s next strategic plan. The discussion will focus on emerging scientific opportunities, pressing health challenges, and priorities for advancing nursing research. We are convening a diverse group of participants, including nurse scientists, clinicians, academic leaders, trainees, health system partners, patients and caregivers, community organizations, and scientific societies.  

Your perspective will help ensure that NINR’s future direction reflects real-world needs and supports research that delivers meaningful improvements in health outcomes. Light refreshments will be provided.
