Special Post-Election Discussion with Steve Clemons

November 5 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

The votes will (mostly) be counted, but what will the results mean for the road ahead? Join us Thursday, November 5, at 1 p.m. ET for a special post-election fireside chat with renowned political commentator and journalist Steve Clemons (check out his impressive bio below). Just two days after the midterm elections, we’ll tap into Steve’s insights to make sense of the results, assess the remaining uncertainties, and explore what the elections signal for the funding and policy priorities that will shape the future of scientific and medical progress.

As always, there will be plenty of time for audience questions, comments, and discussion.

Please note: This meeting is not open to the press, and all discussion by the speakers and attendees is off the record and not for attribution.

Steve Clemons is editor at large of The National Interest and has served as Editor at Large of The Hill, The Atlantic and Semafor as well as in senior editorial roles at National Journal and Quartz. He is also editor and publisher of the popular political blog, The Washington Note, and host of “The Bottom Line” which airs on the global network of Al Jazeera English.
